The Six Realm Portals
REALMS
Realms are landscapes of existence that we move through throughout our lives - places where attention, meaning, and aliveness gather.
While travelers move through all the realms, they feel most at home in a few.
The realms are among the Caravan's oldest mysteries.
Their borders appear porous, and the portals between them can be remarkably fleeting. A traveler may cross into the Creative Realm through a story, only to find themselves standing in Fellowship moments later.
Research remains ongoing.
These pages contain only our current observations.
What we feel we understand so far:
Realm Resonance
As travelers move through the realms, patterns begin to emerge.
Certain landscapes seem to call more often.
Certain portals appear more frequently.
Certain experiences leave stronger echoes behind.
Over time, many Realmwalkers discover that some realms feel strangely familiar.
Like old roads they somehow remember.
Children of the Realms
Some travelers spend so much time within a particular realm that it begins to shape the way they see the world.
These travelers are sometimes known as:
Children of Wonder, History, …
More Than One Home
To make the research more challenging, many travelers discover they do not belong to a single realm.
A historian who paints.
An artist who seeks solitude.
An adventurer who finds meaning through friendship.
A traveler may feel equally at home in two landscapes at once.
A Creative-Historical traveler.
A Wonder-Inner traveler.
A Physical-Fellowship traveler.
Some of the most interesting travelers seem to exist where realms overlap.
What we do know:
The realms shape us.
We shape them in return.
And the places we return to most often slowly become part of our story.
A portal is always discovered first through some kind of spark of inspiration, which we call Wisp.
